“Poured Out” is the second book in the T.R.U.S.T. series (T.otal R.eliance U.pon S.ustained T.ruth). The goal of this series is to study through the entirety of the Old and New Testaments simultaneously and in a chronological order. The structure of this series aims to encourage rather than overwhelm anyone in any stage of life. This resource is set up to increase endurance and sustain perseverance in the study of Scripture through a healthy serving of both grace and Truth.

“Poured Out” serves as a guide through 12 weeks of study in the Old Testament book of Job and the New Testament book of Matthew. Illustrated through the life of Job we will witness radical faith on display in the face of severe suffering through a supernatural sustaining strength that uniquely comes when we are at our weakest; if we are willing to receive it. Job’s life points us to the sure and blessed Hope we have in Jesus. As we embark on another wild ride through the waters of His Word seeking first the Kingdom of Heaven, by God’s grace, may we receive a fresh encounter of the life changing faithfulness of our Messiah, Jesus, the Son of the Living God. 

At the culmination of 12 weeks I pray that each of us will have a higher perspective of our circumstances and a renewed strength that will sustain our faith and embolden our trust in Jesus through the filling of the Holy Spirit that will exceed our wildest expectations. All this in order that we, like Job, would live as a magnification of sure Hope in our Savior’s faithfulness to be the Source of all our needs and Whom will never run dry. For it is only in living poured out, that we can be truly filled.
